Join us for a powerful and meaningful celebration of Juneteenth, a day to honor the freedom and resilience of African Americans. Commemorating June 19, 1865, when enslaved people in Galveston, Texas were finally informed of their liberation, this event will feature local food vendors, historical information gathering, activities for kids, and honoring African Americans contributions to the community over the years.

We will also have a celebration on the Downtown Green with music by the Aquarius Moon Band 7:00pm-9:00pm.
