Save the Date: Rose Festival 2027

Introducing the Gibsonville Rose Festival- June 5, 2027

Long before the Rose Festival was imagined, roses were already part of Gibsonville’s story.

In the 1920s and 1930s, roses planted near Minneola Mill flourished along the railroad, creating a memorable sight, and scent, for travelers passing through town. Those roses helped earn Gibsonville its nickname, the City of Roses.

Today, we’re bringing that piece of our history back to life.

The Downtown Advisory Board and the Gibsonville Parks and Recreation Department are partnering to create the Gibsonville Rose Festival, a signature community event inspired by our town’s heritage, creative spirit, and small-town charm. Our goal is to celebrate what makes Gibsonville unique while creating a new tradition that brings residents, visitors, artists, and local businesses together.

More details, including vendor applications and festival activities, will be announced soon. We look forward to bringing this vision to life with our community!
